Our AWANA Club Program Includes Classes for:
Cubbies - Children who are of Preschool age (Coed)
Sparks - Children in kindergarten through second grade (Coed)
Truth & Training - Children third through sixth grade (Split Boys & Girls)
Leading children through discipleship is an especially important thing for us here at Northside. Our AWANA ministry is open to all children in our community. Our hope through this ministry is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel, and then train them to serve Christ in their lives every day. Like most typical AWANA clubs, Northside provides groups for children of all ages, Cubbies for children who are in the two-years prior to kindergarten, Sparks for children in kindergarten through second grade, Truth & Training for children third through sixth grade. AWANA is held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. except in June, July and August (During the summer months, we do provide a summer ministry for kids). AWANA nights include an opening ceremony, game time, handbook time, and council time. These activities are designed to keep kids focused on service to Christ while having fun and encouraging Scripture memorization and strong Christian living skills.
